KirkWebster.com reviews our 2010 conference online! For those of you who don't know Kirk Webster, he's a wonderful treatment-free beekeeper from Vermont who doesn't have a tv, cell phone or internet connection. However, he has surprised us all by launching a website, www.kirkwebster.com! The website currently encompasses his writings on beekeeping from 2005-2011. We are honored to see that one of his in depth articles is a review of our 2010 Northeast Treatment-Free Beekeeping Conference. To celebrate, we're launching the Golden Rule Honey blog. Kirk's review comes while we are in the midst of organizing the 2011 NETFBC and is inspiring us to make this year's conference as fabulous as he remembers last year's. We're moving to a new venue this year and will continue the NETFBC tradition of in depth presentations, fantastic food, working hives, evening campfires and the incredible energy and enthusiasm of our attendees...we hope to see all of you this year for either the Beginner's Intensive, main conference or both! Don't forget, either program comes with free admission to Thursday's Picnic Table Science Fair. We're hoping that many of you will be inspired to contribute to our shared knowledge base by making a short presentation. Think bees, beekeeping, beekeeeping eguipment, microbes, fermentation, composting, humanure...we can't wait to see what you come up with. ...to be continued... |
